First Impressions - (Out of 20)
Overall the first impressions I get of your site are very good. The banner is excellent and also I quite like the template. However there are some things I would improve. I would get a domain as it makes your site look far more professional. Also I really don’t like the banner you have advertising the hidden haven site & I would move the Welcome back; your last visit was on Apr 2 2009, 06:22 PM down a line because it doesn’t look great next to that banner… saying that unless it isn’t possible I would remove that banner.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
I don’t really have any major issues with the layout, however I would move the radio redirect to the bottom of the ‘’Those about to rock’’ forum. Other then that your site is very well organised and you get a very high mark!

Forum Statistics - (Out of 20)
Well you are almost celebrating your fifth anniversary as a forum and you have just reached 25000 posts and 250 posts. Well before I tell you how to improve, I have to say your perseverance is exceptional. It seems you have less then 20 posts a day, and also a user registers only about once a week. Music is a very popular subject so you can definitely improve. Continue to use services like this and try link referral and directories. You seem to be doing well on the whole though & sticking with your site for 5 years is exceptional. Overall, keep up the good work.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
Well I think you have too many staff to be honest. 3 moderators, an admin and 2 co-admins? I would say you only need 1 co-admin and 2 moderators, but then again, you can’t just fire your mods… however you are overstaffed and it doesn’t look great because generally people will presume your active member base is staff only, however this doesn’t seem to be the case with you. Your overstaffing isn’t terrible, but I don’t think you need that many staff.

Spelling and Grammar - (Out of 20)
There are no spelling or grammar mistakes on the index page which is what’s important. What I would say though is you don’t seem to use capital letters at the beginning of sentences. It’s not significant but it would look better if you did use capitals.

Whilst I like music I wouldn’t really join a music forum… however if you got rid of the ads I’d definitely be more inclined to join
