Just a little review of mine:
Likes:
-The forum is the first thing that appears, which good for attracting people, and visitors don't have to navigate through 5 pages just to see if there is a forum or not.
-Ads are at the bottom, so people won't be distracted when seeing your forum. People tend to dislike forums built with ads, so concealing them, or placing them at the bottom is a plus.
-Its quite easy to navigate through your forum. I see that the navigation bar isn't full of links, which is good for new members.
-The banner is quite relevant. I see that people have these random features in their banner, but you have made a point with it, and also, the text is quite nice, with the small effects.
Dislikes:
-I'd say, without logging in, remove the side widgets as they are basically the same at the top. Those widgets aren't needed and make your forum look obscure.
-When people register to forums, a good location to as where the register button is, is essential. I'd say have a register and login button on the top right, just underneath the banner will be beneficial. Thats because the eye will move in a "z" pattern, and so they will see those buttons.
-The login form, is a little crammed. The whole section is basically empty and so stretching that login form would be better.
-The red text for links is a little strong in my opinion, when contrasting is with the white. It tends to stand out a little too much and is actually harder to read. (not a major thing)
-Lastly, your forum doesn't have anything that is unique, compared to other forums of the same genre. You will definitely need to find something unique, or have a lot of activity to get more members.
Nice work with the forum, and good luck. 🙂
