I am fairly new on here, lost my previous details so having to start again.
I have just setup a new forum last week and was wanting to promote it on here which I thought was the whole idea and got it turned down saying I had to do 5 posts on here or is it on my new forum so here is my first post on here.
is it 5 forum posts on here or does my forum need 5 posts as over 50 some have been created on my new forum, just needs some visitors which I am struggling wit.
hope a moderator can answer my post and clear up what is going on,
Hi and welcome to fp, you just need 5 posts here to promote your site , even if your site has 0 posts you still can promote as long as the 5 posts limit is reached here on fp.
do you need fp points or is it just 5 forum posts.
by the way I started the forum just to occupy me as I have just lost my dad and now spending first Christmas without him, tonight will be a tough one for me along with new years eve but got plenty to occupy me
think the key is to keep occupying myself, got stacks to do in the morning.
I did run a forum for quite a long time then it ended with lots of dead members to the point of no one posting.
just done another post in webmaster section and just wonder if the advent of tablets and mobiles is killing forums, years ago most people had laptops and desktops so could access anything they wanted.
