Honestly, that is a myth. There have been many years that the world was supposed to "end". But never once did it ever come true. The world has been around for such a long period of time now. Why would it end all of a sudden?

Honestly, that is a myth. There have been many years that the world was supposed to "end". But never once did it ever come true. The world has been around for such a long period of time now. Why would it end all of a sudden?

Because in some religions, people believe that the end of the world is coming. For example, with Christianity, a few denominations believe that Jesus will return to Earth one day and take his followers up to heaven, leaving the nonbelievers in despair on Earth. Yes, this is a legitimate religious belief for some people. The one thing that is also believed though is that humans aren't supposed to be able to predict the end of the world.

I'm not saying that I believe that this specific end of world prediction is true, as I don't believe in it. I just don't think it makes sense to factually say it is a myth until we know for sure, which I guess would be the day after.

Being from the UK I don't actually know what a Twinkie is.
