It's sad the way schools (especially public schools) do that. They try to get every school day they can without breaking any laws or making the news. Obviously, we need to be getting an education and such, but things seem to continue to get worse. America wants to get us back to competing with countries like China and such, but I think they are not identifying the true problem in all of this. That's just my opinion. 😛

Luckily, I live in the south, so we are never prepared for snow. If we get an inch of snow on the ground, we usually get out. We had one snow day last year. I remember sleeping in and when I woke up, the snow was completely gone. It was just a dusting of snow as well.

That was the only snow we got last year as well. We didn't really have winter for some reason. The year before last year was awesome. We used all of our snow days and used a day more than our limit, so we had to make up one day.

It changes every year. We used to always have 5-6 snow days in our schedule and we would use a couple of them, but we had 10 snow days last year because they didn't want us to go over the limit again. I think they jinxed it last year. I don't know how many snow days we have this year.

It's part of the education system in the south. All students in the south rejoice when winter comes around. It seems like students in the north hate winter. I guess that's because you guys have so much snow and stuff. We have the middle ground here in Tennessee. It's not too hot and it's not too cold. 😀
