Being inside is always good. 😛 Annoyed, very annoyed. I am a sectional moderator for a forum, and we have been pelted nonstop with spam. The admin hasn't been seen since the beginning of the month, and the global moderator isn't really active or helpful, so I'm nonstop banning spammers and deleting threads.

Well that sucks. It sounds like you are the only one working there on the forum. If they admin or global mod are unable to commit the time into working on the forum, they should just quit those positions and hand the reigns over to someone who will. That's what I think, at least.

I agree fully. When/If the admin comes back I'm going to mention it to them, especially since a majority of the mods and global mods aren't even active.
 
That, I think, is the right thing to do. If they don't come back, then I don't think they can blame you for leaving. You can't be an admin and pop in once every six months or something like that, and expect your staff to do all the work for you. Especially when there is only one doing it by themselves. I am checking in on my forum on a daily basis to make sure nothing is amiss.
