Hello/Goodbye Thread #3

He actually logged on Skype earlier and said he was on holiday, but never told us. Not sure what he has planned for with the spam prevention.

Anyway, how is your evening?

Whenever I was away on forums that I Administrated, or Moderated, I let the entire staff know. I know one case where an Administrator on a forum where I was a Moderator got into a car wreck and couldn't let us know that he was gone because of it. He was gone for a long while too. I understood the situation and was not upset. However, leaving for a long while for an invalid reason and not telling nobody isn't very good when it comes to leadership.

My evening is going really great. My wife and I are going through some more things and deciding what to part with at the garage sale and what to part with before that happens.

Nothing really, out of the stuff that we went through so far and separated from the stuff that we really wanted to keep that is.

I haven't had or been to a yard/garage sale in forever. I plan to start going to more, though. You can find a lot of good stuff at them.

That's true. You can find a lot of good stuff at yard sales that are worth the price. My wife and I have found several items that we just couldn't pass up.

The best part is that most people are oblivious to an item's actual worth and sell it for basically free compared to what it use to be bought for.

I agree. My wife and I even bought stuff that were like that. You just can't pass up a good sale as far as I'm concerned. 😛

I'm still hoping I end up finding some amazing toys that were from my childhood. :lol: I wish I had kept most of that stuff.

Off topic, but it was really humid today. Had to take a cold bath to cool down/ It's never "just right" in the midwest. It's either burning hot or ice cold.

Yeah, it was humid today here too. Thankfully My wife and I got an AC in our apartment to keep us cool. When we step outside, then that's a whole other story. That's the Midwest for you. The weather is awesome compared to California. I lived there over half of my life and the heat was scorching. I don't miss that place in more ways than one. I'm happy living here in the Midwest with my wife. This is where she's from.

I got to go, but hopefully I'll be back later.
