Surprised it hasn't been taken down yet, but I guess they need a certainty that it won't hurt someone when it lands.
Stuff falls from space everyday. I see zero way the US and Canadian government wouldn’t have seen it before it entered the country, though. Alaska/the area around it is so rural that it’s probably the safest place to shoot something like that down.

It's quite interesting that it's just being allowed to fly on by, that's for sure.

I’m not a conspiracist, but something is weird when multiple surveillance balloons are allowed to fly around the country from different angles. 😛

I have to agree, it seems exceptionally strange for a nation not to intercept a suspected spy balloon, and just let it coast on by
