Hello/Goodbye Thread #4

I would consider that close-ish 🙂 I've never been to Texas or to the Southwestern portion of the US.
I have been most of the south eastern states! I've never been west of Texas though, and not much further north than West Virginia.
Texas is beautiful and the people are fantastic. Lived in Plano for 5 years. The politics are a bit backwards, but the people are friendly and courteous
I live right next to Plano! 🙂 I love the area of Texas I'm in, not so crazy about how chaotic Austin is though or the roads in San Antonio.

Yep, that area is lovely!! Really enjoyed my time there, but I completely agree, Austin is such a hub of nonsense these days, and San Antonio and Houston can be awful to get through! DFW is nice, though 🙂

I've never really lived anywhere else and have just moved around the metroplex. Started in Dallas, Mesquite, and Garland, moved to Denton for college and Fort Worth for college and came back to Mesquite/Garland. Now I live in a different city, but still right next to Plano. 🙂

I don't blame you, it's a fantastic area! If it weren't for my own personal situation I would move back there!

Are you in a different state now? Maybe you could move back eventually? 🙂
I live in Arizona now, quite different from Texas lol. I don't think Texas would be a good option for me anymore, as much as I loved it.

Ah I understand. Ah Arizona does seem different. Sounds too hot for me. If I move I wanna move north... Not too far north, and if I did move too far north I better work from home during snow because dear lord lol.

Arizona is ok, not ideal but it works. North sounds good, I wouldn't mind getting into cooler temps! But I hear you, snow's something I'm not desperate to deal with, lol.

I can explain more about the Texas thing if you want to message me privately, just something best left to private discussion lol

My father lived in Texas when I was barely 6 years old and I remember it being hotter than hell lmao.

I completely understand!

And I'm glad Arizona works for you for now at least. I would just like some constant 70's weather. 50's on cold days, 70's for warm days.

That would be perfect! Absolutely!
Florida is pretty hot and muggy year round. I got pretty sick of living there. I was glad when Hurricane Michael hit. It gave me a huge excuse to retreat back to Missouri.
Yeah, humidity is awful, it feels like walking through a sauna!

I think the seasons all over are a little messed up - not sure if it is due to global warming and etc - but I just know I don't like it.

lol it is. My skin tone is like that of porcelain. I'm very pale looking. I sun burned on my face just about every other day that I walked outside. I made a habit to gripe about the heat all of the time. My co-workers called me "snow bird" just because I was from Missouri.
