Good afternoon all! Slept as best I could last night in the heat but I will admit, this heat is getting too much now. Supposed to be the hottest day of the year today and right now we are at 82 degrees but the humidity is high.

Chilling today and making something easy for dinner later and my daughter is babysitting for a close friend later today as well so all in all, quite a smooth day 🙂

At the moment we are under a heat dome and due to that, we are unfortunately dealing with humid nights. They are expecting it to not drop below 68 Fahrenheit tonight, last night was the same.

We are expecting this heat until Tuesday and then it should start to cool down, hopefully!

You're both late...I made my homemade quad city style pizza on Friday 😀 Have you had pizza with finely ground sausage underneath the cheese? So good.
