I've been tossing things and getting pillows put into the spare rooms for when family visits next month. I'm almost set, just need to do that last minute cleaning the day before they get here. I like to plan ahead and be prepared 😀 I even have the menus planned!

When we go visit family, my sister texts me the week before asking me if I'm already packed. She knows me.
I bet you're the planner for a lot of the trips, too, right? How to get there fastest, where to stop along the way, etc?
Oh you know it. My husband doesn't plan anything and if I didn't force him to pack his own clothes, he would just wake up the morning we leave, get dressed and get in the car. So I force him to pack his own things, which also forces him to think about what he'll need to wear. Everything else is on me; snacks, guides, tickets, etc...
Does not surprise me in the least, lol, the practical approach versus the haphazard. Probably take him twice as long to get there if you didn't plan it for everyone lol
Oh, let me tell you about the time he didn't do the settings on his GPS (before Google Maps) and how he didn't get on the turnpike LOL That was a fun day.
Lol!!! Sounds like he's the type that'll start out for Chicago and wind up in Charlotte 😀
And our daughter takes after him!! She was heading back to college about a decade ago and either ignored her GPS or didn't use it, and ended up in another state LOL She called me laughing/crying because she was an idiot and knew it.
That's amazing, lol!! At least she had fun with it, but it's impressive she managed to hit an entirely different state 🤣
They're both directionally challenged.
I am pretty directionally challenged, but I can get around when I absolutely need to, lol. Glad they have you, they definitely need your practicality!!
They are indeed extremely annoying!
