Good morning! How are you?
Doing great. My husband is off work all week so we have plans to go out and do stuff. In a while we're headed to a garden attractions to see the fountains, but right now he went to the Amish market to get some fresh ground chuck so we can grill hamburgers later.
We're thinking of driving down the lighthouse where we found a little beach that not too many people know about. Then we hang out and eat snacks and I drink pop and my husband drinks beer, we watch the boats go by and search for shells.
That sounds like a fantastic time 🙂
There's are some old logs by the water that we sit on until the tide comes in and then we go up to a bench to sit and just relax. Sometimes people will walk by, but it's really rare and we will have the entire place to ourselves.
I love that, we try to do similar things around the Lake here, find a beach that isn't flooded by tourists and just enjoy it.
I hate having to share a beach with hundreds of people!! When we go to the ocean, we go early in the morning, because by the time we leave, there is hardly any room left for people to spread out their blankets. I hate that.
Yeah I don't understand how anyone is having a good relaxing time when it's that crowded :S
Get well soon! Hopefully it's only a 24 hour bug.
It's gone after I took some Panadol and ibuprofen last night. I was hoping it wouldn't be the flu. We are in the middle of Winter so anything is possible.
And we're meant to be the ones in Winter and the suns out! Stupid climate.
It's normal for this time of year for us, really. Summer thunderstorms are expected all next week too.
I'm hoping next month starts getting warmer as formally Winter started in June but weather wise it started in May.
