How cold is it normally in your winter?
Can be around -5c or -6c in the morning/overnight. Rarely gets above 10c+ in Winter. Been raining a lot this year. Where I live there is barely ever any snow and the last time there was snow here was probably a few years ago.
Today the sun is out but it's still very very cold.
That's a pretty mild winter then! I used to live in the Chicagoland area, and it was brutal sometimes.
Lots of flooding and homes destroyed in parts of New Zealand but nothing like that here.
A lot of flooding happens when subdivisions aren't properly planned, or they affect other subdivisions in the area. At my old town, my mother-in-law's new subdivision caused more flooding on my street because they were built higher up, whereas the water used to just remain in their field.
Unfortunately they'll just build subdivisions anywhere. 🙁

Good morning from Idaho! 
Good afternoon everyone! Here in a bit I'm going to figure out how to install the proper drivers for my graphics card in Linux Mint. I installed Linux on one of my hard drives I had sitting around last night, but I ran into issues getting the drivers to work for my graphics card. I'm using my Windows 11 installation now until I can figure out how to get it to work. I have a clue of what's going on, I think it has something to do with Secure Boot not working when I restart my computer... You need Secure Boot enabled when installing third party drivers on Linux installations.
We didn't get any crazy pics on Slack, so you must not have been drunk enough LOL Glad you had a good time at your party.
