Greetings one and all!
My name is Naomi, and I am a new arrival to this site. I registered here because I just formed a forum called 'Conscious Evolution'. It's based on the study of metaphysics. (To learn more about that, check out my post in the Site Promotion area. Look for Conscious Evolution in the thread title.) So I'm here to promote it, and learn more about having a forum in general. I've been a moderator on some forum-based RPGs, but I've never been an admin of a site. So this is a learning experience for me.
As for who I am as a person, I'm really just a happy-go-lucky hippie chick. (Pisces with Leo rising. Makes sense! 😛 ) I love outdoor excursions like hiking, backpacking, camping and kayaking. Ordinarily, I bring along my dog, Ringo, while his little sister, Mouse the cat, keeps the home fires burning. I've been an activist for Greenpeace and Working America, two really fantastic organizations. I believe in exercising my political right and promoting awareness amongst the population.
For the most part, I just love hanging around with my friends, and my new man, Dave. I'm a bit of a chatty person, so I relish discussions of the intellectual and more humorous sort.
