I was looking at ways to promote my forums and was brought to this site, which so far looks to have some good resources on it. I'm pretty experienced in both websites and forums, although I've only just created my first "real" website. Before that I just made some really basic ones back in high school in webdesign. In terms of forums I've been a member of communities since I believe as early as 2006 and also served as moderator on several in the past.
I've had my site open and active for about 2 months now and it's doing decent and I just launched our forums but so far it's been hard to get much activity on them. Hopefully I can learn some tricks from you guys.
