Hi, My names is Rotor Head, RH or Rotor is fine too. So many aliases LOL.
I am Admin on a Free Forums site We call Ye Olde Village Pub. As the name suggests I have a Cyber Pub, Imagine Cheers and you get the idea, We do very well. I started this idea on Topix and ran up 22,000 posts in 2 months. We got tired of the Trolls and how slow their server was so we moved the idea over to Free Forums. Doing very well there. (except the server issues they've been having lately :roll: ) We're at about 50,000 posts right now although the counter only show 23,000. (we lost 27,000 posts trying to move a topic) Bummer. Anyway I saw this site and thought you folks had a good thing going on.
Currently our forum is locked and admin activated, (Still them Topix trolls) but we are planning to open up registration sometime soon.
Anyway I've been reading some of the threads here, and it seems like there are lots of good links and advice for admins. I plan on visiting often.
