Hello,

Bituser is a forum which is now coming into its second year. I have tried my hardest working hour upon hour trying to gain a decent userbase. People sign up every now and then but aren't active. I really need some more active members. What do I do?
Current Stats: Total posts 5015 • Total topics 1204 • Total members 94
Bituser - Free tech support forum

I'd really appreciate some help!

Be sure to promote your forum in all the promotion boards out there. Here is FP's current list:
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=5786

Go into other forums that are related to your forums topic / niche and place your link in the signature.

Be sure to submit to the different services here on FP. (such as Bubble Ads).

Do some post exchanges with other members.

A great way to make sure that you are getting the visitors you want is by doing on-page optimization. This means making sure that you are ranking on search engines for the keywords that you want to rank for. For instance, if I had a gaming forum, that would be the keyword that I would try and rank for, gaming forum. Then, make sure it appears on your home page 2-3 times, and in the title area of your html. You can also put it in the meta keywords as well. After that, just build backlinks that point back to your site (Example: blog comments, posting on other forums, directories, etc.). Then, over time you will start to move up in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages). Before you know it, your forum will get much more attention.

Hello John, I have been looking at the services you provide. I was wondering if you actually have any websites you can show me that you have raised the ranks of. I don't have a huge budget for advertising so I would have to take that into consideration at well.

You need to promote your forum on big Promotion forums. Also use the post exchange and post package services. I do a lot of post exchanges and basically you post on my forum I post on yours or other way around aslong as you keep your word. Post exchanges are a good way to create semi-decent activity.
