Help! My Ipod!

Ok when I try to charge or even turn on my ipod it turns on with apple screen thing and all but then goes to the menu for like half a second and turns off again..and then does that same thing over and over and over again..

Help?

Ahh this happened to my iPod for a while too?


Do you have iPod Linux on it?
If so, get rid of it.

What generation is your iPod, and how long have you had it?
If you have had it for more than 3 years, you might need a new battery (go on iresq.com)

Is your software up to date?
If not update it?

Can you plug it into your computer and it work?
If you can you prob. need a new battery. if you can't, you need to go to Apple.

Have you tried resetting it? Hold centre button and menu (i think) -🙂-

I think you have to Lock the ipod, unlock the Ipod, Lock the ipod, then unlock the ipod, then Hold the center and menu button

If you dont have to do the locking business then im too gullable XD

On my old ipod i didn't have to lock it and all that... I am not sure about my new one as i haven't tried it and i can't be bothered to find it and try it at the moment -lol-

If you READ the rest of the statement you would know that I tried but it didn't work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, I threw it on the ground and it worked..quite weird.
