I'v contacted the bank and they said paypal doesn't really work with debt cards ._.

Utter crap. If you have a Visa Debit or Mastercard Debit card it will work - and I know this because my paypal has several of mine linked.

If they have a CVV, they can be used *as* a credit card.

I have. But paypal isn't accepting my card

It should work. Does your billing address on PayPal match that of your banking? If not, they will decline it every time. Does it give you a specific error?

Yeah, I don't buy that. I have my debit card and 2 of my credit cards linked with my PayPal. As long as it's branded Visa or MasterCard, you should be golden. Contact PayPal customer care and see if they can do anything.

Another thing you could try is a Google Wallet. Link it to your banking account or your debit card and then use that 🙂

This is what my Google Wallet card looks like: http://oi62.tinypic.com/dmqxi0.jpg

I really wanted one of those! 😛

When I tried to sign up, it told me to call to verify my identity, but when I called them, they said they couldn't verify me over the phone.

That's the one where you can wave it on certain credit card readers to pay for stuff, right? 😛

Most paypal accounts with hosts allow you to pay with either debit, credit or balance. I know my account you can but then it's a business account.

You could try DreamHost. If i remember they accept Visa cards. The only thing which forced me to leave their service is their one and only File Manager. I need web based file manager which Must have option to extract zip and they didn't have that option in their file manager. I am not sure for current situation but till last year December it was not here. Also they do not have Cpanel. They have their own coded control Panel which is quite and strong with many options and there was no problem with that and for speed, those servers were very cool.

Hello Claraviolet,

I suggest you use a free monitoring service such as Pingdom. This will automatically alert you when your site goes down (pings it every 1-5 minutes from their server, interval is your choice) and it will automatically generate reports so you can see HOW OFTEN it goes down and exactly WHEN.

You can then forward the exact times and dates whenwever you get those 503 errors which should help Godaddy support pinpoint the cause.

If they're still no help after that, then you definitely should find a new host, make sure you have backups. 🙂
