Hey, heres a few things you should add if you would like to.

Put this in the site area
Introductions area.
Feedback and support area

Make a new category called "Off-topic or general or something and add these
Media
General
Gaming

and other off-topic area's that people can chat in.

Honestly, I would not follow Twilight's suggestion. Maybe a off-topic forum would be fine, but don't go any deeper then that. Those sub-forums would ruin the layout of your forum. People who would visit your forum would be seeking advice on pet health, not to play games. Your target audience is probably a bit older say 21 and up, but all ages still like to talk about their pets. I would say try to mention your forum to people who either work for animal shelters, pet clinics, animal patrol, pet daycares, etc etc. My ex would be the type of person who would join your forum because she talks about dogs all the time, and works with them on a daily basis.

Hi yea ive thought about the off topic, but i dont want to take people away from what the forum is about! so i wont, ive thought about a joke/funny story area! ~wink~
