"Helping Newbs" - Give Those Newbs a Helping Hand

"Helping Newbs"

We were all there once. Young, baffled and poor. Sitting in front of our computers, eagerly waiting for someone to reply to our introduction topic. Well, no more! The next generation of users need helping, and thus welcome to my 'Helping Newbs' campaign!



So what's the idea, Jonnyboy? When we see a nice friendly user sign up, we donate anywhere between 1 to 500FP$ to get them started on their way.

Why do this? Why spend mah FP? Few reasons. First is that is actually helps users. Getting your first lot of FP$ is hard, and a head start would help anyone. Secondly the FP$ is way out of control. We need some of the richer users to lend out a few FP$ to the less rich.

OOOH. Where do I sign up? Just post a reply to this thread saying you're in. Remember to post every time you help a new user, and say how much you've donated.

I'm in, I don't have much myself but more people need to do this to cut down on the FP$ that is in circulation. There is a lot of users with a lot of it and donating it to others would hep them.

It matters how smart the newb is I suppose.

Also, the newb may join, make an Introduction, and never log on again, and totally forget about this place. That's what I did in my first week. 😉
