The following changes to the Website Battles for 2024 are as follows:​


Monetary prizes to the top 3 sites at the end of the year and​

A FREE Posting Package after every 20 wins for a site​



  • NEW At the end of the year, the battles begun in 2024 will finish and the site with the most wins will receive $50 USD as well as a 1-month advertising spot. The 2nd site with the most wins will receive $25 USD and the 3rd site with the most wins will receive $25 USD. In the event of a tie, staff will take a private vote to determine the winners. The top winning site will be listed in the Website Battles forum description, which will be updated regularly.
  • NEW After every 20 wins (site wins, not member wins), the site owner/admin will not be charged for their next Posting Package, and the code SITEBATTLE20 must be included in the request. They will need to follow the Package guidelines when making the request (posts and time requirements).

  • NEW Multiple Battles - A site can be in as many battles as you want, but the site may only have 3 threads using the Looking To Battle prefix at a time.
NEW Sites that have dead links, are closed or suspended will be removed from the Leaderboard. If a member requests an account deletion or their account gets banned, their forum will be removed from the Leaderboard and all Badges will be removed from their account.

Excellent revamp of the site battles section, good to see! 🙂 Monetary prizes are always a winner, but the package every 20 wins is a great edge too

We're off to a great start...we might need you to hop in and assist with battle set ups in the middle of the night :zombiecool:

These are awesome changes and the incentives are amazing! Looking forward to seeing the battle in progress throughout 2024 🙂
 
Don't forget to tell your members that they can come vote for your site! You just can't "pay" them or give them any type of incentive for their votes. It has to be done voluntarily, without reward.
 
This is going well! It's hard to keep track of what ones I've voted in 😛

Of course! There's a helpful button on the editor that lets you add moving pictures to your posts! It's called the GIF button!
