Holy Shit! I wouldn't even spend $100 on a DS... who the hell would pay for that? Better get a superior handheld device like the PSP, pretty much same price.

Give them a break, they've done more for the gaming industry in terms of creativity than any other company if you ask me, always been willing to try new things (touch, motion, wifi).

Thats the half of the industry I haven't really touched apart from Pokemon on the Game boy Advance 😛

Nintendo is all about the gimmicks. Their games or consoles seem to hide behind these "new" features while they are inferior to other consoles. For example, the wii mote to me felt like nothing more than a computer mouse I can use in the air. Not really "interactive".

Nintendo DS's are not as good as they used to be when the first DS lite came out, from then on its just pure crap. Not really any competition for Sony and Microsoft now. Even though the Wii is pretty unique but I still rather my 360 😛

only good this DS is for is for the old people who can't see the small screens of the regular DSs or people who like bigger screens. But really this big thing almost defeats of owning a handheld device.

I personally can't stand DSs. I see the little kids on the bus playing Mario Kart and stuff, and yelling and being obnoxious. I want to take their DS, and show them the proper way to use them. By shoving it up their arse.

Yeah, I'd rather not. For just 10 BUCKS MORE, I could get a PSP, or an iTouch. Nintendo sucks now. It's the EXACT same thing as a DSi except bigger screen. Come on Nintendo, stop.

I given up on DS 3 years ago because it only had 1-3 game I like. In fact I sold my DS Light for $60 3 weeks ago and promised my self to never get a DS again.

The sick thing is, they announced ANOTHER DS after this. One that is running on NVIDIA, which... well... could destroy sony's PSP graphic wise.

It's why i've never bothered to upgrade my DS PHAT since they always release new revisions and then a new handheld is out within a few years. If the rumours about how powerful the successor to DS is (close to Gamecube) then i'll probably end up picking it up providing it's reasonably priced.

I'm intrigued by the DS, but unfortunately, I have never bought one because I have been out of the US for the last 3 years. And then I figured on, if I buy one in UK, AUS, or another country abroad, then it's not going to do me any good when I finally go home.

One of these days, I will finally say; "Screw diplomatic politics" (That's why I have been traveling), and will at last buy a DS. Probably grab the original DS off of eBay.
