Hi all - Found the site from a suggestion on another forum and it looks like a great idea.
Like it appears that many people have, I've been joint admin of a FB group of several thousand members who were getting fed up of the format over there (mainly because of their posts being buried so quickly by other members messages) so I had a hunt around, decided on using a Xenforo installation, tweaked it up and here I am.
We had a reasonable amount of members move over straight away but we're a fledgling site nonetheless.
Thoroughly enjoying the challenge.
About me :
I'm an IT consultant and also write software (mainly Android apps these days but I've worked on and produced huge clinical systems for the NHS, written accounting software, and bespoke systems for a host of different business types).
My skills are largely centred around the technical back end stuff so making things look pretty I really have to leave to others 😛
On top of that, I have a passion for fitness and nutrition which is what my forum is all about.
Looking forward to joining in here and learning as much as I can!
