Have just joined. I was a moderator on one of the largest political forums on the net for about three and a half years, but after some changes that I didn't agree with there I resigned, and was encouraged (by some former staff colleagues at the other place) to start up my own forum, which I did, so now I'm out to tell people about it (and also maybe learn a bit about the admin side, as opposed to the moderator side).
Yup, it's my first forum as an Admin. Been on lots as a member, and have over 3 years as a moderator behind me (on a forum where the admin left them moderators to pretty much run the place), so I do have a bit of experience in knowing how to run things, but starting from scratch and trying to build it up is a brand new (and very interesting so far!) experience for me. Looks like there's some useful information around here.
