Hi everyone. I am new to forum building but decided to make a forum about one of my interests (boxing). I find it very difficult to get constructive advice about my forum. Sometimes it is easy to overlook things that you havent seen so I decided to join forum promotion.
The forum has been up and runnning since June and has a few regular posters but I find it hard to get more people to join to turn it into a big community.
I am using phpbb (because its free) and have installed lots of mods like SEO, Arcade, vcash etc etc. I was going to go with invision but didnt like the idea of paying for something without knowing if it was worth doing.
I have slowly built up some good quality links and got a page rank of 2 (unspectacular i know) in the first 4 months. We rank pretty high in google for certain terms but realy important ones like 'boxing forum' we arent in the top 200.
I am looking for ways to improve my site but also to help others improvr theirs. If anyone has any phpbb difficulties relating to mods id be glad to help.
