There've been so many good ones over the years. One that really comes to mine is Tangerine Dream at the Howard Theatre in 2012. I've been a fan of the Dream since I was in middle school, and finally having the chance to see them in person was absolutely amazing. We had a table almost next to the stage, so you could see everything going on, and the Dream had expanded to a six-member group at that time, so there was so much. To my surprise, they also did a lot of stuff from way back in their history, like Ricochet, which had to have been around 1975 or so.Can you tell us about the best concert you've ever been to/seen?
I want to say 14 inches. Checking...yeah, I'm wrong, but somewhat close. It's 18. Should have known to guess high. How big is the diameter of a basketball hoop in inches?
Whoooooo, that's a loaded question! And I'm not sure how to answer, since I'm still fairly new here and I'm not certain of the ages, or in some cases the genders, of who is here. But there are a number of very lovely folks here, and it would be wonderful to step out with any one of them for a cup of coffee sometime. If you were to ask for a date with one of FP members, who would it be?
In high school, I developed a (VERY BAD) habit of running across the street between the leaving school buses, as I didn't want to wait for the whole parade to pass, as it were. At one point I did it and a car was coming from the other direction, which I couldn't see - and he couldn't see me - because of the buses. He stood on the brake, and it's a very, very good thing he did. He stopped close enough that I put my right arm down and touched the hood of his car. What's the scariest moment you've encounter in your whole life?
I watched one episode. It was okay, but it was always going to be compared in my mind to The Muppet Show during the 70s-80s, which I was a great fan of. So it would have had to have been exceptional for me to like it, and I didn't feel it rose to that. It was great seeing the characters, though.Do you watch The Muppets?
Anthea Redfern, as it turns out. I'd never seen or heard of The Generation Game; it's strictly a British phenomenon. I still have a good chance of knowing about British entertainment, more than the average American I would think, but this one was a complete blank. And remains so. I'd like to visit Britain some time but I would probably just miss that show.Who was Bruce Forsyth's first female assistant on the Generation Game?
I'm tempted to go with Dionysius, because booze...but I'd probably rather be Hermes. I could zip around and get things done very, very fast.If you could be any Greek God (or Goddess) who would it be and why?
I believe that would be Titan. What is the largest moon of Saturn called?
Oh, yes, all the time. Not as much as I would like. In my younger days, I ran track as my sport...the reflexes and movement is all still there, but the endurance is much, much, much diminished. You walk
It probably dates from Roman days. The vomitoria referred to the exits from the Colosseum, well-designed to evacuate the greatest number of people in the shortest amount of time.Who invented the word "vomit"?
My birthday. And before I'm accused of narcissism, I don't really celebrate it in any special way. I just tend to be an even-keeled person who doesn't get too into the concept of ceremony. What is your favorite holiday?
Never have, but it sounds interesting. If I could get over the freaky, flying-up-in-the-air part.Flown in a hot air balloon?
