When I was a toddler, I wanted to reach a light switch, so I stood on a Fisher-Price toy TV of mine and of course promptly fell off. Still have a small scar through my eyebrow for that one.

What relaxes you when you're stressed?
I kind of always suspected, really.
Not usually, but sometimes. One of my partners loves to be out in the fall, so I suspect we might this year, if we can get the time.
Was that Sonny? I think this might be another case of American/British differences.
Music; sometimes reading. I listened to a couple of Miles Davis and Chick Corea albums when I was getting over the reaction to the vaccine.
There are a lot of good ones. I loved being in Montréal and San Francisco, and I would give anything to get back to Bridgetown or Key West. But there's something to be said for being on your own turf...so Baltimore, or maybe D.C.
Hmmm. Well, that's awfully low - only about three times the poverty level - so I don't see any means of implementing it without a rigid adherence to communism - in other words, collective ownership of the means of production and a dissolution of class in society. And it would almost certainly necessitate statism in order to enforce. Would it work? I'd have very serious doubts about it. It does not have a good historical record behind it, and it would probably be subject to corruption, depending on the state structure.
Just before the pandemic, I headed off with my partner on a cruise to Mexico and the Caribbean. Wonderful time.
Right now, there seems to be an issue with voting in polls, so it would be helpful if that could be resolved. Beyond that...I'm still doing some exploring and figuring out what is available. I like to study opportunities like this; I understand it's a community and I don't wish to take from it more than I give.
I like heavy metal! I don't mind either Bach or barbershop, but I'd like to hear them unmixed, as it were.
