hi, im new here but my site isn't, i already registered on forum topsites, am up there 🙂 Finally decided to join you guys and try out some of the other promotion stuff. Mostly I am interested in button affiliation exchanges with other big sites, my site is over 4000 members/500,000 posts but most of our affiliates are very small. We are an RPG.
Also I might just come around to chitchat about other stuff if that's okay.
If this post is breaking any rules just let me know XD
do any of you know what board I go to to find out if anyone wants to affiliate with me? Like a button/banner exchange? I saw the Exchange boards but they all seem to be join for joins or post for posts and I do not want to do those.

edit: looked in there some more and...I kind of don't see where anyone's advertising to affiliate with other sites {button exchanges}.
We aren't a for-profit site of any kind, we're just a game, stat counter shows that I'm getting some hits from our current affiliates but those are all pretty small, except Forum Promotion which gets us very few hits {though I'll keep it up there because I'm seeing more RPGs using it, so more roleplayers may start to visit it!}. I see some RPGs and fandom forums {ours is both} being advertised on this forum too so figured a few might be interested in affiliation.
i'll stop now because I don't want to look like I'm plugging in here. I really just want to know how things all work here. Sorry about the noobiness....I promise, it'll pass. 🙂
Forum's sagging a little lately in activity though so here I am, lol. Lots of posts are cool but they only indicate past activity, not what's going on at the moment. Got a mature forum slipping from a peak lthis past spring of around 1200 posts a day to below 1000, so the little warning bell went off in my head. Statcounter shows that affiliates seem to be the best way we get targeted hits after Google. I already index pretty high on Google so can't really improve that, instead I've decided to pick up some more affiliates ^_^
So yeah...that board only seems to be for cash stuff not banner exchanges {button exchanges really if you want to get technical} and I don't do join for joins. So what board would I go to? Unless people don't do button exchanges here? *shrug*
