Number Of Members: (7/10)
Your forum has got 85 members. Since your forum has been open since 13th June 2008 (taken from the first members join date).
I would say that since you have managed to get about 1 new user a day is good. But just looking at the memberlist I notice that there’s a few days where you get members but then for the next few days you don’t get any new members at all.
I say that if possible advertise on more sites where you can. Add your site to search engines (if you haven’t already). Also you could try using the packages that will get members and posts for your forum from FP or use the exchange forums to get your link on other sites and members from you signing up to other peoples forums while they signup to yours as well.
Number Of Active Members: (5/10)
I would say that about 14 members on your forum are active (members with 12+ posts I counted).
This isn’t the best amount of active members to have since you have 6x more the amount of members on your forum.
My advice to get more of your members active would be to encourage some members who haven’t visited the forum to post and the members who have a low post count. Also I like to remind you that here on FP as we the packages that give you posts and members as well as the exchange forums.
Number Of Posts (Spam or Otherwise): (7/10)
Your forum has 874 posts. Although that your forum has been open for a few months I would of thought that you would of got a few more posts but then you have the lack of active members on your forum.
To gain more posts on your forum you need to get more members which will help get the post count up as well as the activity on your forum. Also the exchange forum and packages should help here as well.
Appearance (First Impressions): (15/20)
The first part of your theme that is annoying me is the fact as the background gets lighter from left to centre it just goes back dark and there fore making it harder for me to read the text. I will say that you do have a good logo on your forum although I would say could change the background or make the text a bit clearer.
Going down to the nav bar, here I see that the ‘calendar’ and ‘forum blog’ images don’t seem to exist making gaps in the nav bar. I will also add the colour of the chat box that is green doesn’t really fit into the site and would be better if the colour was darker are similar to the other colours of the theme.
For some reason likely due to the background and some images that aren’t really visible make me say that overall that the style doesn’t fix the site. If the background did look better and some images it could change my mind.
Layout: (12/ 20)
I would say that your forum doesn’t have the best layout as if the sections are empty it can put people off from joining your forum. I recommend that you try to merge some forums together and find unnecessary forums then remove them if possible.
For example ‘Team Fortress 2’, ‘Call of Duty 4’ and Grid you could get rid of the ‘Guides & Templates’ areas and have them in the main discussion forum for each of the games. Then over time you can expand your forum by adding more forums when necessary.
Moderation: (8/10)
Since there is only 1 admin on your forum for now I would say is enough since the forum isn’t that active. I would also say that your forum is well moderated and shouldn’t need any more moderators until the activity picks up on your forum.
Activity: (7/10)
I wouldn’t say that you forum has much activity on at all, as most of the sections are empty apart from a few posts. Then only a few members connected to your site in the last 24hr. Also while have been doing this review I have been the only member online. I will advise you to try and get people to visit and post on your site more.
Spelling and Grammar (6/10)
Just by taking a look at 1 topic I have 41 spelling an grammar errors (all within 6 posts). Although I will say that there quite a few errors it will be about 70% of problems in this part.
