Created in November of 2010. I've recently become overwhelmed with life and have my daughter to care for. Also, I'm getting married on the 26th. It's time to part with HCNET as its owner. I'm looking to sell it over to a worthy owner.
Selling:
IPB License
Domain
3 Premium themes that cost me $20EA
Mood Mod @ $15
Thread Status' @ $10
and much more invested!
Here's the thing. I don't need an IP.Board license or mods or skins. I'm interested in the domain and the database (mainly the database).
I want to merge HCNET with TechGeeks and create more sections in TechGeeks to accommodate the sections that you have and keep discussions like that alive. I'd like TechGeeks to focus on more general areas and a merger with HCNET would help me do that.
I don't know where your posts come from but almost 5,000 are introductory + off topic. I think as administrators we can agree that those have no monetary value. They only bump up the post stats. 🙂
I'll give you $15 for your database. You can keep your mods and domain and theme and license or sell them 🙂 If you accept this deal you'll be able to promise your members that their discussions will not die off. I've been paying for hosting on TechGeeks for nearly two years; your members can know that their discussions will remain live, they can know that HCNET (or even with a merger and name change) will remain on nice, quick hosting, and they can know that they won't get spammed and that their community will remain nice and clean.
I honestly believe that this is the best thing you can do for your members. All I need is the content (database) and we'll merge it and the members will be happy. Their discussions will be transfered over to an active, moderated, friendly community.
You can choose this or you can choose to make a bit more money but just remember that with this deal all I want is your database. (It would be nice if you redirected your domain for some time too) With this sale your members would remain happy.
