I was just wondering what people think this is worth? Aged domain, PR1, some members and traffic but excellent rankings, needs a bit of work but great foundations...Just about to update with VB and VBSEO.

If I got a decent offer, I'd sell it, just wondering what it's worth?

$30 is not what I'd consider good. Nowhere near in fact. I think I'll keep it 🙂

It's a nice domain and I believe it can potentially fetch up to low $xxx to the right buyer. But to put it into perspective, is hiking popular in the UK?

Either way, you need to develop it. You could get quite a response if you advertise it well, and if you do choose to sell it, it should be of a higher value.

Yeah you could probably get more but i'm not sure what hiking is like in the UK like David said. If it's popular maybe a few hundred bucks?

Hiking is fairly popular. I hiked mount snowdon and must have been 500-1000 people when I got to the top. I don't think it's always how big something is, it just needs to be a good niche. I think I'll just keep and develop it as a hobby 🙂

I reckon that would be the best way to go about it. If it does gets big, you can still profit from it through Adsense or other monetisation methods; hiking shops may want to advertise on your site.

Thanks for the responses. I got a fairly high £xxx offer but decided to keep it anyway. 12 months down the line it could easily be producing that every 6-12 months anyway.
