I hope this is her last stunt in major politics. If she runs for president and wins, I am moving to another country.

I dont hate democrats, I just feel that this term especially, not much has been done.

How does that make Hillary a bad candidate for president??
Considering the mess Bush left for Obama and the new government to clean up, they've been doing well. But how does that influence your views on Hillary? She's not the president now.

Well, that's based on the premise that researching stem cells is the most efficient way to cure these things.

I don't appose it because of the life it kills or whatever, but what power can be weilded from it that we should not possess (yet, at least).

It doesn't kill any life, the life is already dead. Otherwise it's put to medical waste.
What does it matter? Even if it doesn't help, why not take a crack at it?

I thought this was a topic about Hilary Clinton, not how much the US is in debt.

I personally don't care for Hilary Clinton, though I don't dislike her either, I guess I'm in the middle. I highly doubt she will ever be president though (officially that is -😉- ).

OK... so every time you see obama, change it to obama and staff (which includes hilary).obama has tripled the national debt that bush doubled. so make this clear obama has tripled the double. o and they're pushing for the largest tax increase in the history of the US and its hitting the poor the worse (cap and trade act/carbon tax) and when they tried to shut down g-bay, they were going to pay countries millions of dollars per inmate to take them. because where would u put the nations most dangerous criminals. not in state jails. and obama added more troops in iraq which he promised to not do. o and if any of you supported him because you thought he was for gay rights, he just defended the defense of marriage act.

This has gone a bit off topic here, but I guess it has similarities. Anyway, I don't really know enough about Hilarly to really have an opinion, like romanite I'm in the middle here, and I doubt she'll be president.

I'm not happy with some of the things obama has said/done (Doctors have to perform abortions, I'm not against them but should be a persons choice & the fact he won't try getting pot legalized) but overall I think he has done good with the mess so far.

There is gonna have to be a tax increase with the debt we have, so I don't think anyone is surprised. The system is just completely collapsing already, which always happens in history. I won't be surprised if dollars completely loose value in the next few years, barter system anyone? -lol-... but that could happen, so not that funny. -n-

The economic packages consist of more than just the "Stimulus". There is also the bank bailout, automaker bailout, mortgage bailout, and a second "stimulus" in the works. The total will be in the area of $2-3 Trillion.

The National Deficit and the National Debt are two different things. The National Deficit is the amount that we are in the red this year and the National Debt is the amount total amount that the government is currently behind. The current National Deficit pre-stimulus was about $1.2 Trillion and the National Debt was about $9.5 Trillion.

The Bush Administration inherited a National Debt of $6.5 Trillion and increased it to $9.5 Trillion over 8 years (including two wars). That comes to $375 Billion in deficit spending each year (on average).
