I registered a brand new domain for my free forums site freephpbbforums .com and pointed a few backlinks at it and waited a couple of days for google to index it, after 3 days nothing so I added the url in webmasters tools fetch as googlebot waited another 3 days still nothing so I did a bit of research and found it had some porno and drug related backlinks from a couple of years ago, presumably with a previous owner, so I registered the .org version of the domain, pointed the same backlinks at it and google indexed it 24 hours later. Has anyone else been stung like this with a newly registered domain?
