holderhost Review

So, I love the site design. It is definitely clean and professional. While browsing through your hosting packages, I've fallen in love with your VPS $10/mo plan. That being said, I'm too broke to purchase that at this time. I feel like the rest of our prices for the different hosting packages are fairly priced which is excellent on the business side of things.

I also want to point out that the way you present your information is also professional and understandable. I mean that, not just as a tech nerd who understands the lingo, but as someone who wouldn't know a GB from a MB, I think you've done an excellent job with your explanations of products and services.

One suggestion that I have involves the logo. I love the logo as it's professional and clean. However, that being said, I think it needs a little more oomph. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but I feel like it's lacking something. I am totally cool if you keep it, but I just think you should do something to make it "grab" a visitor's attention as that's the first thing users look at. The only reason I say this is, because, while I was thinking of something else to say, I had this thought: "😵... How's the logo?" I didn't even remember what it looked like. To be honest thats usually my biggest selling point on a site that I join. If the logo is really good and catches my attention, 9/10 times I'll become a member or client for something I'm in need of.

I mean no disrespect at all by the way. The logo is pretty good as is and everything else is pretty superb! Thanks for sharing and I hope some of my feedback will help you and or humble you.

Just stating my opinion here. I think the site could use more contents. For example, you need to have a knowledgebase section about tutorials. That's the most important thing for me.

My apologies for not replying for this!! I very much appreciate the feedback and you taking the time to check out the holderhost site. I definitely agree that holderhost is in need of a new logo. Don't tell anyone but I made it in powerpoint... I was planning on getting a logo made and then never got around to it.

I completely apologize if my post above meant that you felt the need to mention "no disrespect", I absolutely want good honest feedback on where we can improve and what "sucks" about the design/ site. 🙂

That's a very good suggestion. While it is difficult to maintain a knowledgebase / tutorial section, I can see a lot of value in it (and I look for it myself quite often).
