Right i live on a flight path we get planes every day from little planes to massive army planes coming in daily and if i look out my window i can see the side of the plane coming in. But TODAY! Its quite cloudy today and the planes are sort of flying low. But about 20mins ago we had the emirates 777 fly over the house and very of course, and i think if i through a stone at it i would of hit it it was that low. Me and my mum panicked as we thought a plane was going to crash.
As I live right in the middle of Manchester, Birmingham and East Midlands airports we always see vapour trails criss-crossing the sky, sometimes one or two are a bit lower than usual but nothing out of the ordinary....once however one plane came over (I think it was an air force plane) and I swear I could count the nuts and bolts on the thing! It couldn't have been more than 20 feet above the chimney tops :shock:
Yes we have quite a lot of planes going over as I am like an hour away from Glasgow International but they tend to fly low, also Prestwick Airport too.
We're an army training ground 😛 . There was two army planes chasing each other downwards and pulled up at the last second lol. Everyone at school thought it was going to crash.
I live near an airport BUT I am moving on Friday. :cheer:
To top it off there is a railroad track right behind the house. If one is not making the house shake the other is. Its miserable.
Glad to be moving to a better part of town.
I remember it being play time in primary school and a plane (probably owned by the local submarine/shipbuilding industry) flying very closely over our school. I thought then, being young, that if I jumped with enough energy I could have latched onto the bottom of it.😛
