Do you have a homepage on your forum or blog and if you do, what do you put on it?

My forum has the default MyBB portal turned on and also has a website linked to it which has some blog elements. Currently they're not on the same domain (the forum is a subdomain, forum.xxx.net) but hopefully that is something that can be implemented in the future, so it's more of a cohesive experience.

As mine is a general discussion forum I currently don't see a need for a home page. I would like to do a sort of FAQ where myself and the staff write a sort of mini biography about ourselves and a brief explanation of our duties are at Marie 1988. I wouldn't allow details about home address and phone numbers but just say a little bit about themselves and what their jobs are on the forum. an all out homepage? no

I don't believe so, not yet at least. The blog articles do get quite a bit of traffic though and we have gained some new members from it.

well, some sites get good results from an home page and others are not to meant to have one
