Yesterday, I woke up late. Ran out the door, the jeep wouldn't start for a while, once it did, I got out, it was freezing, drove out, got to school, and realized I forgot my backpack.
Yeah pretty much every morning is a horrible morning. I hate waking up early.
On the weekends my daughter is very persistent on waking me up early. She starts off by saying "daddy... Daaaaaady... daaaaaaaaddddddddddyyyyyyyyyy" all quiet.. Then screams "DADDY!!!!!!!" at the top of her lungs. I usually wake up for like a minute or two then fall back asleep. She will repeat that process and the second or third time I am usually up.
But if I am really persistent on sleeping for a bit longer, she climbs up on the dresser on the side of the bed and jumps on my stomach. Which usually knocks the wind out of me. Not a great way to start the day.
6:30am I here some loud noise, go back to sleep. 6:58am I wake up again and go back to sleep. 7:00am my alarm goes off and that really annoys me. Get out of bed and almost instantly lye back down. 7:30am backup alarm goes off (like a point of no return alarm) and it feels like I closed my eyes for 2 minutes. Tired all day long.
I got woken up at half 5 this morning, two blokes were outside chatting away as if it was mid afternoon, not caring that 3 sets of flats can hear them. I kept thinking "they will go away in a minute" but when I eventually sat up and looked out the window to shout at them, they left.
Not been able to get back to sleep and its bugging me because I have to go out this afternoon and I've only had a few hours sleep 🙁
That's the worst when you have to jump out of bed in a rush just to get back on track. Its weird. I don't know if its because its a mental thing or what, but it seems like it just sets you up for a whole bad day. All day you're completely off your groove.
