Do you think the following specs is enough to run a host?

  • 30 GB Disk Space
  • 150 GB Bandwidth
  • Softaculous and Fantastico De Luxe
  • WebHost Manager / cPanel
  • Unlimited databases
  • Unlimited FTP
  • Unlimited Email

If so, what could each shared plan have? I am willing to have 2 P2H plans and 1 Paid Plan.

If you do not agree, what specs are well suitable for the host?

It's so expensive. I already have a host figured out. I am getting the specs above. I just need to know if thats enough.

You can find cheaper reseller hosting. Using one account on a host probably won't be sufficient for an entire hosting company and it would require a lot of hard backend work to get cPanel accounts set up.

One of my friend is using Free Reseller as well. It's okay but it's not the best and ideal if you want to make sell hosting to other people. Better of saving up a bit and getting paid reseller, you'll get much more Disk Space and Bandwidth.

You can go this a try though, might work out to be quite good 🙂

A proper hosting spec is believed to have bandwidth 10 x space.

In that case the chances of bandwidth exploitation are limited.

If that is a shared account, you probably can't host off that. If that is a reseller account, you may need to be careful as they go down easily. VPS is, at the very least, good for hosting and dedicated servers are the best. You could probably find some cheap off-shore hosting, but starting a hosting company isn't easy at all. If you can't afford a VPS then you will experience trouble, as a word of warning. What you have right now will probably not work in my opinion of running a host.

I dont have it ATM, I'm just planning on creating a host, just wondering if that much is enough.

It'll work for a free host but don't even dare go for a paid plan unless you have a dedicated server going. Most of the top free hosts also use dedicated servers as well but you can get away with a VPS/Reseller for free (or P2H) hosting.

Any P2H site suggestions that give a lot of disk space and bandwidth with the reseller package?

On hostjiffy I am still planning on coming out with reseller at a later date, it could be a while though 😕

If I were you, I'd use Pluto Hosting for the reseller. Just click on the "Resllers" on the top bar. They give you a lot for what you are paying I use them to host my forum, and I've never had any trouble with them.
