Anyone here used HostGator?

What do you think of it? A reliable host?

I used to have an arcade website running there, and I had to fight to get support as they refuse support for arcades alot of times since some of the staff members there feel arcades are violation of their TOS, but it's not according to the owner of HostGator.

I just finally got fed up with it, and emailed them asking to terminate my reoccuring payment and my account.

I have used HostGator for about 8 months. Their service is very good. They recently upgraded their shared servers to unlimited bandwidth and space.

From first views site looks like a reliable host. Though, after looking at their features, the get you on the "one domain" crap.

I have used them for 3 years. EXCELLENT SERVICE and very very reliable. I guarantee not 1 problem with this host. Also, look on top hosting websites and for those sites that give reviews of the top hosts, i guarantee HostMonster will be up on top almost every time.

Under their cheapest hosting, where they say you get "everything unlimited" check out their cheapest plan. http://www.hostgator.com/shared.shtml

Your only allowed one domain name on that hosting, which could be good or bad depending on the person. Well I have a lot more domains to host than one. Plus it also gives me the safety to know that I have a great host that will let me do that without upgrading.

I know a site that uses Hostgator.com, it gets 100 members in 3 days and is growing So fast, its a massive community, but never has any downtime at all

Id certainly reccomend them

I have just began using hostgator a month ago. I've been happy with it. Haven't had any trouble yet.
