I was thinking of getting Hosting for my Advertising Addicts Forum and was wondering what is the best service to use, besides HostGator.

I've heard of FatCow, GoDaddy, NameCheap and of course HostGator.

However, besides HostGator can anyone recommend me a great Hosting site that has excellent Customer Support and easy functionality please?

I am currently using NameCheap for my Domain Hosting, should I use them to for Hosting all so?

Thanks again,

Warren

I would firstly recommend that you keep your hosting separate for your domain. I haven't heard anything negative about Namecheap's Hosting but reviews about Godaddy's services show that domain registers are not necessarily the best webhosts.

Secondly- You may wish to check out http://www.holderhost.com as we have some affordable deals. 🙂 There are also some webhosts on here which would suit your needs. A smaller webhost is going to be able to work in with you a bit better as it will understand your needs.

Good luck with finding a quality webhost!

So what makes HolderHost better from the rest if I may ask?

Sure. We aren't a one man band. Plato (owner of WebGurubb.com, CoolFacts.in and TechNewsCentral) and myself are equal co-owners. We run our services on top quality, lightening fast servers (check http://www.thebookstore.co.nz as an example). We are also around to help out when you need. We are experienced.

Plato has coded a Wordpress modification for Adsense sharing and two Xenforo modifications. His sites are very popular.

I myself coded thebookstore.co.nz (to access two API's BookDepository and GoodReads). I also own LowEndHost.org. I have owned a variety of other websites in a number of areas including three forums over the last three years. I have to admit to being a dabbler, although HolderHost.com is a long term project which has been going for over a year now.

Thanks! 😀

Hello,
Here are a few reasons to choose our hosting service:

Our hosting plans and prices are far more reasonable than many other webhosts out there. Many webhosts give you unlimited resources but you can only do very little with it than it looks like. For example these unlimited packages are not really unlimited. If you dig deeper into their TOS and AUP you will see there are limits on the number of inodes, number of processes and processor usages.

Also the basic plans from these kind of webhosts offer you unlimited packages but you can only use just one domain. If you ask me no one needs an unlimited package on a shared hosting if you can only add just one domain. Yes if the site is very big and pulls a lot of traffic, the unlimited resources might come handy, but still because of these inodes/number of processes/processor usage limits you will have to move to a better plan than a shared hosting.

Thats why we designed our hosting plans like what you see. It is customer friendly and will be very helpful in the long run.

Lets consider our basic plan.
It offers 2GB diskspace and 5GB bandwidth and almost all other usual features which you will see on big hosting companies, but with one exception. You can actually host 2 domains in our basic plan, ie $2 per month will get you hosting for 2 of your websites.

If your website is big and has a lot of content, sure you can choose our next big plan, which will cost you $4. In this plan you will be able to host 5 of your domains.

Now when it comes to our customer support, all I can say is we care a lot about our customers' satisfaction. We're a team of experienced webmasters with a lot of background, so you might not need to worry about our support.

Your best bet is to talk to each host you are considering. Ask questions so you know what you are getting. Remember this is your money, get what you want. :great:

I would recommend kvchosting. They are cheap and reliable and great support. They reply support tickets within 10 minutes and are very helpful. PM me if you have any questions.

Never heard about kvchosting before. I'd wait for a while and see what happens next in the next 5 years.
