I'm looking to make a switch from my current provider, DreamHost. I'm currently paying $30/mo for a VPS so that I have enough resources to run a small forum. I haven't been having the best experience with this provider because while they're a stable host, they're ancient and most of their resource caps reflect that. I'm told I'm overpaying quite a bit for what I'm getting...
I don't necessarily need a VPS, though I would like to have lots of headroom and flexibility to grow.

I would like a well established host which offers at least 300mb of RAM. Unmetered storage and bandwidth is also preferable, though as long as they offer at least 15GB of storage and 50GB/mo bandwidth, they're fine. I won't go over my original price of $30/mo.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Well, I don't have any personal suggestions but you may find what you're looking for in these, here and if I'm not mistaken, Jake, to my knowledge is offering free vps hosting

If you are looking for shared hosting plan, I may be able to help.. PM me if you want. 🙂

Thanks for the recommendations, so far vpswebserver.com has the closest to what I'm looking for, though I'm still not sold on anything yet.

You could look into Rat Hosting. We are cPanel certified and offer unlimited for £3.49/month. However, you could also try HostGator which is a little more expensive but is more established. 😉

I think $18.mo is just way too much. Is there a provider recently that offers it on a low price?
