They're free with an optional permanent upgrade. Regardless of being free they have great uptime.

Also I suggest Hawkhost as they host this place.

Unlimited disk space/bandwidth = rubbish and impossible. Usually as soon as you get high stats then they'll cut you off and say you're using too much. And they're allowed, read their TOS... 'unlimited subject to use' or something like that.

Hostgator horror stories 😀 They offer that unlimited crap too

I have been using HostGator for around 2 years, my support request tickets are answered in around 4 mins or less and the live chat is nearly instant.

Nothing wrong with them, which is why they host over 2million sites :shrug:

Practically every host does that, so why pick on Host Gator, a forum does not even produce high server load, so there should not be a problem.

There is no way a hosting site can offer unlimited everything. You can try them if you want, but I know most hosts have CPU limits. But at the end of the day, whatever you want to do is up to you.

I'm not going back to forum owning, but maybe I'll do them as a test run, to see what they are like, maybe. I don't know yet.

I won't recommended Speed Hosting because it is run by a well know spammer.

Most likely with them once you start useing lot of disk space and/or bandwidth they will make you pay extra or close your account. I would recommended HawkHost

I use BlueHost, Hawkhost seem alright as well though.

I was with WebHostingPad though, and I'd say they were a decent hosting company. An overseller, but I didn't really have any problems with them.

I am with a host, I have unlimited everything, I use alot of system resources right now and ive only been open for 6 days, it will increase dramatically soon and no problems so far....
