Your Forum Review

First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
It looks rather messy in my view. In the beginning, the nav buttons cover up the logo and makes it look unsorted and thrown in. I would recommend moving them into a new graphical bar just under the header. It would improve the look a lot too.

The blue is nice and calming, not like industrial feeling host forums. I congratulate you on that. I also love the stats box. It looks like a Vbulletin style stat box

Nice Simple theme with some good variations mixed in, I am loving the logo as well! 🙂

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
You need way more forums regarding your hosting service other than what you have now. I would have a place for appraisals, feature requests and maybe even just a QA with the staff. You would really add something to your board.

I think when a member logs in, the forum layout should be changed with Hosting and Questions first, then Webmasters lounge, then News and announcements, then off topic. That layout would get the users what they want, because those sections are updated most. On the news sections, news is hardly posted, suggestions come and go and new members isn't the biggest thing.

I would suggest leaving the shout box unavailable to guests, another feature they know has been stripped of them.

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)
You have pretty good stats, I mean this is a hosting forum, it isn't supposed to be the biggest forum in the world so I will keep this short.

The good thing is they don't need much support, I see a dry spell on those topics. That means your hosting is fine, servers react fine and manuals are easily understood by humans.

I do not think, at this point however, there is a need for a moderator. Just lay back, good things come to those who wait.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
The staff seems fine. You do have a bit of overstaffment going on, but it isn't a big deal for now. In queries are answered fast, hosting information is easily understood and you are always there to keep the board going in dead times.

I do think you can go easy on the announcements at this point though.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism - (Out of 20)
I can't tell if you are "Hosts Age" or "Host Sage". I am thinking the second one but I am not completly sure. I am kinda frilly on these things, just not sure about it.

Wow, great review 😉.

The menu thing, it's suppose to be on the right side of the logo, just above where the header ends. Something like this:
bhbsi8.webp

I heartily agree with site layout and spelling suggestions.

Thanks 🙂

I am getting a different image.

Thanks, please leave some feedback for me, I'd appreciate it 🙂
