Well I havent used hotmail in a long time but they have really gotten better. After playing around with my settings for a while, Ive gotten it to look just like Outlook (my email program I use at work). Where it shows the email on the right column.
Ive always been a loyal yahoo mail user but I think I am liking hotmail better now. 😀
Do you use them?
I have never really used Hotmail... I tried them years ago and didn't like it. I already have enough emails for various things so i don't need anymore so i can't see myself using Hotmail again for a while.
I remember I made a hotmail account a couple years ago and it was just ugly and not very user friendly. The only reason I went with them this time is because the email name I wanted was taken on yahoo and gmail, but after fiddling with things, I think its a pretty decent email service.
Gave up using Free Email long ago. Now I use my personal Email addresses with Thunderbird. Download the messages to my desktop in real time...just like Outlook, but by Mozilla rather than Microsoft...therefore better. 😉
The biggest issue I have when using them is the rendering speed of their site. It's too weighed down with images and non-strict coding for my connection speed. Though it looks nice and all, when I need to check mail fast it's not the answer.
Right now I use GMail tied into my domain names (or a few of them anyway). It's amazing and works with my Youtube, Google Webmaster, Analytics, and other accounts as well.
