Hour long Windows update

My system doesn't take long to update, It restarts and takes no time at all 😉 then again I do not keep on delaying them I just do them 🙂
If you keep on delaying your updates then it will take for more longer to do when you do it you see. Since my OS is on an SSD it's very fast. So I do not have to wait that long 😉 Nowdays with 10 and 11 it's so much faster to the old days of windows 7 Xd

I had one get hung up once and it needed a hard reset on the PC to fix. I was not a fan of restarting a PC during an update, but it worked out fine in the end. Granted all the recent ones have been good to me.
force shut down while it's restarting and doing updates is not a good idea it can make it worse lol
My new PC (Windows 11 Pro) took less than a minute to run the update. I imagine that's primarily down to the PCI NVMe SSD storage which is literally a hundred times faster than a HDD. To be honest having lived with my previous PC for around 15 years, my new one was a bit of a revelation.

The way that modern versions of Windows handle updates is one of many factors pushing me to Linux.
