The guy they are pushing already is Rep. McCarthy from California. Apparently he's a little more Conservative than Boehner, which is hard to believe.

I mean the Republican party is so fractional nowadays that it's hard to elect a Speaker that can relate to EVERY member.

Anyone have any predictions as to whether the government will shut down tomorrow, given Boehner's announced plan to resign? My guess is no, as it very rarely happens.
