Since i am some how fascinated with science, and history (even if i don't think so) I know a lot, and i know what is the only plausible way for 2012. As you all may know from my past post, the mega volcano is due to erupt, actually a few hundred years over due. On december 21 (i think thats the correct date) The mega volcano will erupt. The eruption will be the biggest the world has ever seen, The blast radios will take over the whole US, including parts of Canada and Mexico. The blast is the least to worry about, luckily it will kill all Americans, Canadians, and Mexicans instantly the soot, and ash from the eruption will spread into the skies, taking up the whole area of north America. The ash will block out %80 of the earths light, causing the earth to go into a massive Ice age, almost instantly. It will be a few days until the sun will sees to show. The snow will fall, the water will freeze. That's nothing of the worries though. The ice age will only last a few months until the earths cycle filters the ash out. It will be a mixture of things that will be something you will have to worry about. The blast from the volcano will break Greenland into pieces, the ice will then melt into the Atlantic and stop the under water circulation. That has already happened once in history, and the effect was terrible. It sent all of Europe into a ice age for 100 years. The ice age in other places from the volcano will be nothing, and vanish in a few months in all places but Europe. The effect of the ice age in Europe will cause Europeans to scatter to places such as Russia, which will cause Europe's economy to fail, thus creating another world wide depression. Getting back on topic, the other main factors that will much worse than the ice age, will be the snow that falls. The snow will be nice for a while, as people love to watch the snow fall, but the snow contains a deadly factor, that will wipe out the human population. The ash inside the snow will get into all peoples lungs, but wont just harm the people but also the animals, which brings me into the next major factor. The ash, soot, snow, and the cold from the ice age will kill the small organisms on the food chain. The plankton, and other small creatures will parish. The domino effect will start to happen. The ants, small fish, ect. will start to die from food loss, and it will cycle to bigger animals, such as dear, tuna, ect. eventually killing the keystone species, and then killing of all organisms. With all this happening the plants will soon evolve and become over populated. The earth will soon start to repair itself. The only problem is the organisms that make up the planet. The plants will soon die from lack of sunlight from the bigger plants, the plants will not be able to grow, and soon the earth will become the moon, a organism free, dead, planet. All this will be caused by one super volcano. Just like everything else. America will end the war. ---Made by Pivetor---
