In light of the recent stories coming out in the Australian media baout fake doctors, 9here's themost recent one: http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/he...s/news-story/698f029560d4f789adfe3872d76911c0) I thought I'd start a doctor bashing thread where we tell stories about embarassing crap our doctors have done.

Just last year, I was seeing a doctor who googled my symptoms right in front of my wife and I. At that point, I was done.

Oh boy, so this is a bit of a story.

I stubbed my bare toe on stairs once, dislodging my toenail and backing it up into my toe, causing a lot of internal damage. It eventually got infected, and months later I finally ended up going into the doctor's office. The doctor I saw seemed a bit drunk, but nothing obviously gave it away until he injected my toe to deaden it, before cutting away the infected tissue. It felt like he was pushing the needle too far in, and that it was coming out the other side of my toe, but I dismissed it thinking it was just in my head. He came back a few minute later to see if I had any feeling, and I still did, so he did it over, again feeling like he went all the way through. Eventually I just told him I couldn't feel anything, so he'd get it over with. After the procedure and I got home, I saw 4 exit holes on the bottom of my toe corresponding with the injection points at the top. So, that was cool.

Nasty picture of my toe:

O_O I'm cringing just thinking about getting that injury. That is so crazy that the doctor put the needle all the way through your toe...
