So as a lot of people know, I run Forum Flare, and one of the things I enjoy most is interviewing forum owners and community members from around the web.

The problem is finding people willing to take part. When I come across a forum that hasn't been featured before, I usually send them the message below. Unfortunately, I've had quite a few unanswered PMs lately.

Do you think the message needs improving? Is there something that would make you more likely to respond to an invitation like this?

Hi there,

I run a community interview series on Forum Flare where we feature forum owners, staff members, and community members from across the web.

I’d love to invite you to take part in a short written interview. The process is very simple — I’ll send you 15 questions, and you can answer them in your own time. Once completed, the interview will be published on Forum Flare to share your experiences and perspectives with the wider forum community.

If you’re interested, just let me know and I’ll send the questions through.

Thanks, and I hope to feature you soon!

I agree with Page, I recommend joining Reddit and checking out the subreddit r/oldinternet since many people like to share their random websites though most of them are static ones and not forums unfortunately. Additionally r/redditalternatives has many forum like communities too.

I'd recommend looking else where, especially on other webmaster forums. Especially Digital Point, Sitepoint, the 32BIT cafe, etc. They would be relatively good places to find other webmasters to interview along with developers.
